West Los Angeles College freshman Brenda Rosales-Coria won the 1,500- and 5,000-meter titles in 4:38.35 and 18:38.20 at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at Bakersfield College. Rosales-Coria, the state runner-up in cross country, became the first female athlete to win both titles in the same year since 2015.
