Cerritos College sophomore Amber Hart swept the women's discus throw, hammer throw and shot put titles at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at Bakersfield College, helping the Falcons place second overall with 152 points. Hart won the discus with a throw of 157-8 (48.05m), the hammer with an effort of 166-8 (50.79m) and shot put with a mark of 44-4 (13.51m).
